Posted : admin On 4/11/2022- Compared to other wheat cents from that era, the 1945 wheat cent is very common. The cool thing about both of the 1944 and 1945 cents is that they were made from used shell casings that were collected during WWII.

For one, there were 3 different types of Lincoln pennies produced most years. Because the different coin types were produced in different quantities, the type plays into the value heavily.
